HI, I’M MARIS.
I believe that when people feel seen, supported, and stretched, they step into their potential in ways that transform not just their work, but their relationships, organizations, and lives.
I began my career in the nonprofit sector, moving from direct service to fundraising, to Chief of Staff, and eventually Executive Director—all before the age of 30. I loved what I did and who I got to work with. One of the benefits of leading in under-resourced environments was learning firsthand what makes organizations extraordinary: their people.
In 2018, after becoming a mom, I decided to step away from executive leadership and launch a business centered on supporting people. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals and teams across sectors—often those navigating change, complexity, or the growing pains of leadership.
I believe the internal landscape of a coach shapes what becomes possible with clients. I bring my full self—empathy, clarity, humor, honesty, curiosity, and lived experience—into every engagement. I received my individual coaching certification through the Hudson Institute and hold a diploma with distinction in team coaching from the Team Coaching Studio. I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and have an Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
When I’m not coaching, I’m home in San Diego with my husband and our two sons. I’m a mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and entrepreneur. Outside of work, you’ll often find me reading, cooking, or listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
